Live Commodity Tips: Petrol price cut by 15 paisa and diesel price cut by 18 paisa in Delhi by IOCL

new Delhi. Even after the rise in crude oil prices in the international market, prices of petrol and diesel are still going on at the local level. Indian Oil Corporation, the country's largest state-owned oil company, on Saturday, January 5, 2019, cut petrol prices by 15 paise and diesel price 18 paise per liter. After this cut, petrol in Delhi has declined to Rs 68.29 per liter in Delhi. At the same time, diesel has come down to Rs 62.26 per liter. 

The biggest cut in Chennai, the 
price of petrol in Mumbai, which is known as the country's financial capital, has been reduced by 15 paise to Rs 73.95 per liter. Whereas diesel prices have been cut by a maximum of 20 paise and it has reduced to Rs 65.14 per liter. Petrol in Kolkata has dropped 15 paise to Rs 70.43 per liter and diesel 18 paise to Rs 64.03 per liter. In Chennai, petrol has been cut by a whopping 16 paise and it has reduced to Rs 70.85 a liter. In Chennai, diesel has lost 19 paise to Rs 65.72 per liter.

Crude oil prices rise

Crude oil prices have registered in the international market. Brent crude oil was trading at $ 57.06 a barrel after crossing the $ 55 barrel level with a 1.98 percent increase on Saturday. On the other hand, WTI crude also witnessed an uptrend and was trading at $ 47.96 a barrel with an increase of 1.85 percent. On Saturday, OPEC baskets also showed in green marks and it was trading at $ 52.95 a barrel.
